Anthro grr plus please help

I know many of you love Anthro, but I am so fed up with them. It seems like lately, they can't be "bothered" to offer good customer service at my local shop, and it's pissing me off.


This weekend, I went in to try on some jeans. (I like Joe's, and they have a good selection, usually, and the Anthro is close to my house). So I tried on these jeans in a 30, and I really liked them, but I wanted to try the 29, b/c the 30 was too big. So I'm trying on tons of other stuff, and I ask the girl to have someone bring me the 29. I finish trying on EVERYTHING else, and still no 29. So I'm irritated and I walk out, leaving everything I would have purchased, including the jeans behind. I don't want to give them my business, but I want these jeans and can't find them online. Any suggestions? I'm not sure if the style name is Robinson, or if that is the wash? Usually with Joe's, I would think Robinson was the wash, but there was no style name on these.

aw that sucks!  I know this is no excuse - but was it very busy?  Sometimes Sales Associates have so many people demanding things of them that they honestly just forget sometimes.  It's like being a waitress but not getting any tips =(  Maybe you can do a store search or call around the Anthros and see if they can ship it straight to you.  If you say yours didn't have it or you had a bad experience at your store, they may waive shipping.

just looking at those joe's they look really really similar to my muse joe's jeans.  i would check that style out.  i know my Muse have stretch in them and usually i wear a 29 in their jeans and had to size down to a 28 in this particular style. 


sorry about your anthro experience.  sometimes at my anthro- i have stellar CS experience and sometimes not.  however, it was the first place that someone complimented me on my Bulga!  and they recognized it as a Bulga too!  :)  so they always hold a special place in my heart b/c of that!


i would do as lynnie suggested and call their 800# and explain what happened and perhaps they will waive shipping!

the wash on those joe's is called robinson, they are a special pair (flap pockets, etc.). I know my anthro in columbus had them in 29's so I would call CS and have them do a search and send you them from the nearest store. I love those jeans and am contemplating them myself! good luck!
