I feel really self conscious going into high end stores, so I usually don't!

I hear ya! You know what makes me really uncomfortable is going into those little expensive boutiques and you're the only customer in there, so you're being watched like a hawk and if you don't buy anything they then look at you like, "Yeah, I knew you weren't going to buy anything."

And singing, and dancing, and wearing a bathing suit, did I get it all??

I will not be wearing a bathing suit this summer. No one is going to see my strech-mark covered ass and thunder thighs, thank you very much!

My other one is driving...I am such a terrible driver, I feel like people are cussing me out whenever I'm on the road. My heart rate goes up...I get migraines...driving is the single most stressful thing someone can ask me to do and I feel so self-conscious about the fact that I've done so much with my life already, but I cannot do what should be one of the simplest things. I am such a bad driver that I actually haven't driven in nearly two years.

I am with you on the driving, Lilykind. I got my license a couple of years ago and have only driven a few times since then. Everyone says if you do it more you will get comfortable with it. I can't see this happening, ever. I am glad I got it because I once had to drive a friend to the hospital. I wasn't nervous then, I knew I had to do it and didn't think twice. But if it is not a life or death situation, I do not need to be behind the wheel!! Oh, and I don't wanna show my thighs either!!

Edit: Imagine the horror of driving while wearing a bathing suit?

oh god, me too. i'm not self-conscious in shorts it's just that i know my ass and thighs look better covered up so i make it a point never to wear shorts. but bathing suits! good lord - torture devices aren't they? and then when i wear a cover-up, i always feel like people are thinking i'm wearing a cover-up because my thighs are too jiggly to be seen in public. they'd be right of course but must i think they're thinking it? ick, ick, ick.

picking take-out up at a restaurant. i wonder if they think i'm going to eat all that food by myself. (i am but usually over a few days.) i don't mind when i'm picking up enough food for obviously more than me but single dishes always get me!

and then there's the delivery times. sometimes i'll order a bunch of different dishes (from chinese for instance) so i can have some to take to work all week, etc. and more than once (okay, embarassing confession coming out here) when i open the door for the delivery guy i'll yell towards the upstairs or back of the house, where delivery person can't see, "food's here!" like there's someone else there. oh god, that's embarassing. but yes, it's true. i've done it.

Ah! I've totally done that too! There's a 2 for 1 pizza place by us so I'll order my BF 1 pizza and me another (I never finish it all in one night, just so you know ) and I always wonder what they're thinking when it's just me at the door because my bf's not home from work yet! I'll do the yelling thing too :) Don't worry, you're not alone
