I always hear people saying they LOVE facials, or pedicures, or massages, or long baths with scented oils. I thought it would be interesting to see what ST girls think makes the biggest difference! If you could only do one "pampering thing" what would it be?
(I have it on the brain because tonight I have an appointment for my second manicure ever - first was like 6 years ago so I don't even remember if I liked it!)

I like a LUSH bath with a bomb and a bath-melt. Usually, by the time I figure out that I need a pampering bath, I'm about ready to have a nervous breakdown - - so I just sit there and stare. No magazines or other accessories.
Out of the house- A nice pedi with a good massage chair. I only get a few a year so I like to make them count. I've only had one actual manicure and didn't really care for it (I don't like the feeling of polish on my fingernails and hated the maintenance of it.)
In the house- a cup of coffee, some homemade cookies and a good book (and no interruptions!)
Massage. Hands down. Pedicures and manicures are fun, but they are more maintainence than pamper in my opinion. There is nothing more rewarding than being kneaded after a long week in heels and hard workouts. My favorite kind is when they add on a head massage with the body massage...absolute heaven. If I can't make it to a massage, I feel completely pampered with a cup of hot chocolate, the food network, and my cashmere sweats. Mmmmm
I get facials very occasionally (mucho expensivo) from this one spa in town. Mainly because it includes the facial and a hand/foot/scalp massage and aromatherapy - looooooooove!

A suggestion for you massage junkies: most massage therapists will come to your house, so if you find someone you like, ask them. They'd rather take 100 percent of your money than give half to the spa.
It's much more awesome to have a massage at home. You just need space for them to set up a table.
I have never had a massage/facial/mani-pedi, but I do like to pamper myself!
At home, I'm like boots - a good book and I'm set!
At the salon - I absolutely love scalp massages. They make me so relaxed. My hair stylist always washes my hair when I go in (b/c I have it dyed), but I would get a blowout just so someone could give me a scalp massage.
