I put on my flips today and realized that I need a pedicure BADLY...and a manicure too. I really would like to do it tonight since my usual nail place closes at 7 and I seem to remember that there are places open late somewhere...If anyone has recs for places in the Beverly Hills-ish part of town (I work in the Miracle Mile) I'm totally game.

how much u lookin to spend?  i've always wanted to try the paint shop (on robertson) but it's a tad pricey and i don't get my nails done often enough to warrant special treatment.  also u could check out beauty bar... not sure where it is exactly but my coworker saw paula abdul geting her nails done there so it must be good since i doubt she would go somewhere crummy again after that whole nail fiasco last year!  anyways, sorry i'm not much help, i really don't get my nails done that often, but i'm in LA so i felt compelled to respond!  hehe!

sorry for the delay, i totally missed this post!  lilykind, try contempo nails on robertson between olympic and gregory way.  here's the number--(310) 855-8879. 


everyone there does an awesome job and they're open 'til 8.  oh and for a french manicure and normal pedicure, i usually spend about $28 (including tips).  hth!

hey--late in responding to this b/c i just saw it, but this is info you can use any time!  i go to happy nails on santa monica and la brea, in the shopping center where the new target is.  they are technically open until 8, but they will book appts. up to 7:30 or 7:45 i think, so if they go over, they will finish you up well past 8. 


i also recommend the paint shop on robertson--they are fab and SO nice, but more expensive.  also, sometimes they will close earlier if they don't have anyone in there--it's a small operation.

i feel obligated to respond, since i'm in la too.  in case you want something closer to brentwood, i highly recommend the place i go to - although at the moment i can't remember the name!  they're on wilshire, just west of bundy, on the north side of the street.  they're 2 doors down from the winsor pilates studio.  if you go, ask for annie, she's great and really nice.  and they're open till 7:30 or 8 - i know i've come in after 7:30 and they've taken me and stayed until after 8.  they charge $25 for mani and pedi.
