I thought about babysitting in my home to earn some money, just not sure how much I should charge. Ladies do you have any insight on this? Thanks

Depends on the region you live. Here in LA, the going rate is $12-20 /hour, $15 pretty much being the average.

Wow that seems like a lot! It's not worth it to work when you're paying the babysitter $20 p/hour. But then again I dont live in the city, I live in the suburbs. Most babysitters charge a weekly rate on average $200 per week. I live 30 mi. north of LA.

Wow $12-20 . I have been checking in my area and it is about the same as your area BQ. About the  same as a daycare would charge. Thanks ladies
