Well, my boyfriend just sold our playoff tickets for the suns game tonight.  It's game 5, and the spurs are up 3-1, so if the suns don't win tonight, there will be no more home games  =(


He sold them on ebay for a measly $380 which is a STEAL and such a waste.  He knew how bad I wanted to go too, and it's not like he needs to money, but he got greedy and sold them anyway even though he knew how much I wanted to go.


According to him, they're "his" tickets, and I have no right to be upset, but, we've been living together and dating for about 3 years, we SHOULD be married, or at least engaged by now (that's another rant!), so I think that's just bull!


There's nothing I can do about it now, but just needed to vent my frustration to hopefully help me get over it!

That sounds like a very girly thing to do! What guy would sell tickets to an awesome game like that especially if his girlfriend wanted to go?? What a jerk.
Sorry honey but your guy gets the Jerk award for the day. (playoff tic's, that award might have to last the whole weekend!) Sorry!
P.S. this guy sounds a little selfish. When you live together, whats mine is yours!!!

oh dear.  that sucks...i think i remember your other thread about him back on FH...i really hope i'm not bringing up a sore subject but did he ever get you that watch for xmas you'd really been wanting?  i hope so, because you sure do deserve it.

I think you're thinking of someone else...I'm not a big watch fan!  He does definitely get the jerk award though!  And I definitely agree that when you live together as long as we have, and share everything, then it's just ridiculous that all of a sudden the tickets are his!  And what guy would sell playoff tickets?!?  It was a very greedy and mean thing to do knowing how big of a fan I am.


It's times like this when I have no clue why I'm with him.  He can be so immature sometimes.  But, he can also be very sweet, so, I need to pout the rest of the day and then suck it up and have fun watching the game at our favorite sports bar!  I refuse to let him ruin this night!

What a jerk! I do NOT understand boys sometimes. I hope y'all have kissed and made up by now though... Did he buy you something or take you somewhere nice to make it up to you?
