Huh?  Girl Scout Cookies?  Please elaborate.  I'd love to drink thin mints all night long!

I'm not exactly sure what is in it- maybe cream, kahlua, and peppermint schnapps?  They are WONDERFUL, at least at my local bar, which is the only place i've ever had them.  I want to drink some right now.

It is probably like this- but peppermint- creme de menthe?- instead of goldschlager.

My all time signature drink is a cape cod.

Next fav going out drink is a cherry vodka tonic (I'm not a big fan of tonic water so I need the cherry to hide it!!)

When I am trying to be 'grown up' a flirtini.

A malibu and pineapple WITH cranberry never fails, but my fave is a chocolate martini.  I don't drink beer or anything with cola (just don't like the taste).  The bartender at my favorite bar is the best in the world (and doesn't even drink any alcohol himself) and always makes up yummy concoctions for me--I like it as long as it is creamy or fruity, aka a "girly drink."

BTW, has anyone tried Hangar One vodka?  It is very smooth and crisp; I definately recommend it.

i don't really like most sweet drinks.. however, i have a long standing joke with alot of girlfriends (from different circles of friends).. where our favorite alcoholic drink is alize! it was definitely one of those things that started at joke.. but we would bring it to every house-warming, new year's party, bachlorette party, etc... where it almost became not a joke anymore. one my friends admitted to actually keeping it in her office mini-fridge! i'm afraid it's serious for her. but i haven't had it in probably two years +

i usually will get at a bar: vodka soda (i also prefer ketel one like honey); maker's mark on the rocks; if i am at a place with good scotch i will get that on the rocks; or beer.. but i usually prefer those other things since they are lowever in calories.

another whimiscal joke drink i had recently was my non-stop supply of pina colodas in puerto rico. maybe it's because they didn't use malibu and used real rum or used coconut water instead of milk?.. but it was much less sweet than what i think of pina coloda (i think the last one i had i was probably 14). anyway, it was so refreshing after being in the sun.. but i would be too embarassed to ever order that off the islands!

Depends on what kind of mood I am in. Vodka martini, vodka collins or morgan+diet coke. If it's beer it's Corona. Shots I usually do Jager Bombs or Crown. But those shot days really don't happen that often anymore.:)

I like long island iced teas but they always give me the worst hang-overs!!  A few weeks ago I I had a REALLY good one, it had a hint of a lime taste.

I also like apple martini's--once I had a caramel apple martini which was too sweet for me.

Bacardi and diet coke.

I had this drink at a restaurant called a Godzilla...I don't remember what was in it but it was green so I'm pretty sure it had midori in it.  Yummy and strong enough to give a good buzz.

If I'm drinking wine I like Pinot grigio or riesling.

Mimosa's are the best at brunch.

After one LI Iced Tea, I'm totally gone...I'm such a lightweight

I'm honestly really pedestrian and a total girly girl about my drinks. I'll have anything with fruity flavors but I'm terribly partial to Mimosas, Cosmopolitans. I also could guzzle Corona in both regular and light form for days.

I'm getting to this late but here goes! Although I have to say, choosing my favorite drink is like asking me to choose my favorite pair of shoes - there are too, too many! And it depends on my mood.

1. grey goose & white cranberry (if the bar has it), otherwise red cranberry and DO NOT put a lime in my drink. if i wanted a capecod, i would ask for one. (pet peeve) this is a hard drink for bartenders to get right, for some reason. they always put too much cranberry in and it tastes awful. you have to get just the right blend so the cranberry doesn't overpower the drink, imo.

2. jack and diet coke - this is a sipping drink for me and it's not one of my faves but sometimes you're just in the mood for a little jack, ya know?

3. recently i found this great white grape martini at a bar. it's got vodka, white grape juice, and (get this) frozen grapes on a skewer where olives would go!!! can you believe it? it's wonderful. and it's got sour sugar all around the rim... so yummy. BUT i'm sure the calories alone make it one to stay away from

4. and what i have almost anywhere i go is red wine. (yes i'm the girl carrying around the glass of wine in a sports bar) what kind depends on my mood. if i'm feeling saucy, i'll go with shiraz or a syrrah, depending on what they have. if it's a normal night i'll go with a nice cab. if i'm feeling very nice and girly i'll go for a pinot noir.

5. shot - fave is goldschlager (i know, i know) but second fave is a shot of crown and third fave is a shot of tequila - yum!

this thread is making me want to leave work and head to a bar!

for beer, i like stella, yuengling, and even budweiser; for mixed drinks, i used to get tom collins all the time but haven't for a while, vodka and cranberry, margaritas, mimosas at brunch; and generally speaking i love wine, both red (something rich and full-bodied, i love brunello di montelcinos) and white (i like white burgundies a lot right now).

you girls have posted a lot of yummy sounding drinks!  i need to expand my horizons.

I will pretty much always go for red wine. Otherwise either a double G&T with 2 limes or Carlsberg. That's if I have a choice. Being under 21 I often get stuck drinking whatever is around, usually Bud Lite.
