so i have had my ipod for a while, but i just started messing around with itunes....i figured since it's nice weather and i will wondering around outside more, i'll get some new music...

anyways, i did a search for music in stylethread so i just wanted to say that i downloaded a ton of music that every suggested.  here's some i downloaded(i know i'm a little behind things)...

the libertines, snow patrol, the postal service, some more elliot smith, arcade fire, razorlight, plus some of my old favorites, dar williams, pixies, ani, rilo kiley, some house music, etc...

so thanks for making me spend my money, for the good taste in music, and any more suggestions always welcome!

man i love the libertines!!! good choices there. i'm also an arcade fire fan, although that's sometimes not a popular fan to be. and of course rilo kiley is fabulous.

have fun!

Ah! I got it the week it came out. I'm a HUGE Raveonette's fan. I just saw them live a couple weeks ago - so fab. I've loved them for years. I'm so glad to see someone else appreciating them, too!

I had heard of them before, but never listened to them or anything until my boyfriend saw them on Jimmy Kimmel the other week.  He loved them and went out and bought the new album.  How many other albums do they have and are they as good as Pretty in Black?  I am in love w/them!

There are 2 other albums before Pretty in Pink. The 2nd one (That Great Love Sound) is my fave. It's a toss-up between Pretty in Pink and That Great Love Sound. I can't remember what the first one is called since it got stolen from me. (stupid cd thieves) but it was all in B Minor and ...Love Sound was all in B Flat. Pretty cool if you ask me. Definitely check out the other two albums. If I remember correctly the first one was very raw but very full of promise. Like first albums should be.
