agree with what mikat just said, but one more idea:
take a small vacation ALONE and spent that time with yourself, visiting a different city, waliking around, finding nice places to eat, or just going to some relaxing setting with a good book. You'll come back feeling a new person!

Also, you can start reading/studying things you are completely unfamiliar with (example: I am pretty familiar with ancient greek literature, mithology, but know nothing about native americans; so, my next project is to read their myths, then may be some hystory)

read a "good" book... a classic that you've never read or a contemporary peice that is thought provoking.

do something that you don't normally do- never eat out by yourself? book a dinner reservation at a nice place and show up with confidence. or go to the beach/ bar/ movies alone.

be by yourself for an hour or two and just think about what you don't like about yourself and see how you can change/improve on it. it takes about an hour each way for me to get to work and i spend it by thinking about how i don't want to be like everyone else out there (who are seriously rude, crude, and everything not great) and just see where my mind takes me. im definitely trying to be a better person (not that i wasn't great before; im just not where i wanna be).

mikacat has alot of great suggestions also.

Everyone has great suggestions, but I just have to say because I have seen your pictures, PLEASE DON'T DYE YOUR HAIR. I think usually that's a good idea for a change, but I love yours so you can't.

Having said that, it sounds like you are in a really reflective mood & when I get that way, I like to journal. I also love this book "Simple Abundance: A Daybook of Comfort & Joy" by Sarah Ban Breathnach http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0446519138/ref=pd_sxp_elt_l1/104-8432361-5520732

It gives you a subject or a project each day to change your surroundings or makes you think about subjects you might not normally think about. Check out the inside on amazon.com for examples. I don't know if that is "reinventing" yourself, but maybe on the inside it is!

I also agree with learning about new skill / developing new hobbies / learn about subjects that interest you that you don't know much about.

Good luck & let us know when you make a decision about what to do - I'm curious!

Lately I haven't felt 100% me so I've been doing some reinventing of my own.

One thing I learned real quick is that you can't change everything at once and if you try, you stress over every little thing.

Find one thing that you're really unhappy with and focus on that.

Journaling has also been a huge help. I wrote down my honest feelings about what I'm not content about and it's good to just get it out and down on paper.

Good Luck!
