Has anyone gone there recently?  I really want a jacket from there (it is in the Showroom, in the tops section, page 2, red with puff sleeves and banded collar) to wear with my new coach bag that should arrive soon.  Opinions on the jacket/the store in general?

that's cute!  it loosk like the fabric is some kind of ultra-suede? or is that just how it looks in the picture? anyway, like the color and style.  what does your coach bag look like?

Bad thing about my local Zara is that you can't just go in and look at an item like at Banana Republic.  I live in a tourist area, and the hot stuff flies out of the store as soon as they stock it

I can stop by this weekend try to scope it out for you though

Hey Lynnie,

sorry took me so long to repost, I had trouble finding this thread again. The red jacket I saw, and there was a large left, had a banded collar, and military style buttons running up the front. The only thing is that the fabric wasn't a solid red, but had more of a flower design all over it, sorta of like curtain fabric, but in a good way lol! Very cute, had a nice weight to it, but you would have to work around the pattern.

They had tons of cute jackets, but everything was pretty much sold out size wise I'm on the hunt now too for one that I saw in the store!

Hmm, i would prefer solid but I doubt I'll find that exact jacket in a solid red and I LOVE the cut.  Would you buy it even with the pattern?  Can you give me more details on cuteness factor?  Also- how do things at Zara run?  Mine has a small on hold for me.  I am usually a size 4.

I usually wear a 2/4 also, and the jacket I want is very similar to the one you have in cut. The small fit pretty tight across bust, and I think any blouses would be "smooshed" under it. The medium would allow for layering, which would be good for Fall & Winter.

They all have a slight puff to the shoulders, and have a cropped feel to them, they ended above my waist. That is why I think it would be better to size up, so you can layer a longer piece underneath. I loved the red color, and since the fabric is dense & matte in color, the pattern isn't too obvious.

Let me know if I can be of any more help!

OH - what does the jacket you like look like?   I hope the small fits because thats all they have!  The sales girl said she was a 2 and the smalls were usually too big for her?  I will see.  Maybe I can try to make it myself? LOL- that would be SO hard.
