Finding Bras in Odd Sizes
Permalink Closed

Does anyone know what bra manufacturers make extended sizes?  I found a couple random off-brand bras at TJ Maxx in a 32C a couple of weeks ago and have since had a really hard time tracking down a quality bra in that size.  Victorias Secret doesn't even make it for cryin' out loud!

Anyone?

My mom wears a 32 DD (yeah, i only got about 1/3 of it. . .) and she gets Wacoal bras.  They make a 32C, I guess it's just a matter of finding them at your local department store.  She has gotten a few Wacoals at TJ Maxx/ Marshall's in the past too.  Good luck!

i have bought many many 32D's at VS--i don't know why they wouldn't have a 32C.  have you asked in the store? i know they make them, maybe they were just sold out.

anyway, i am scared to go in there, but i have heard that frederick's of hollywood also makes an extended range of styles.  i can't recommend them though because i have no firsthand experience.

Yup - they even looked it up in their master style book and in the computer.  No luck. She tried to tell me that a 34B was the same thing, but I beg to differ!  I didn't feel like going in to the details of exactly why I can't wear a 34B with the dingy salesgirl, so I just nodded along...

was it a particular style that you were asking about? because i cannot believe that they just don't make that size, across the board.  that doesn't make any sense at all.  i'd try again.

i don't know LMonet- did you try one?  my girlfriend is a 36A and sometimes has to get 34B at VS because they don't carry a lot of 36A bras.  my girlfriends swears it fits the exact same way... every SA at VS has sworn up and down that it is the same thing as well...

it would be worth a shot...

LMonet, I just wanted to back you up and say that I was just in VS and the girl measure me as a 32C (so incorrect...but anyway). She said, "technically you're a 32C, but we don't carry that size, so go with a 34C."

I also asked if they had a 32D and she said they don't carry that either! Anyway, I don't know how they go about measuring bra size because I ended up with a 34D, which fit perfectly!

Just wanted to let you know that they weren't lying to you, they really don't carry a 32C, which is so ridiculous. There was another girl in the store looking for the same size. If so many women wear that size, why don't they make it?
