On a regular day, what do you usually do to your hair. Do you just put it in a ponytail? or leave it down? or style it somehow...also, what do you do to it when you go out? What makes it look different than just any other day?
For every day, I just straighten it and leave it down. For going out (ha! My town isn't exactly a 'go-out' kind of place) I usually just change my part to something more dramatic. The only time I ever wear it up is sometimes on the weekends if I don't feel like straightening it or want to give it a break.

I am in a ponytail rut. Although last week I did a braid straight down the back and i got complimented that my hair looked very cute. So I've been trying to do more braids and buns lately.
my hair is short, longer in the front but almosty spicky n the back.
If I want to look like a normal person, I leave is as it comes when I dry it. Otherwise, I put gel in the pack to lift the "spikes" (it's not a good description, I know, couldn't come up with anything better...)
My hair is really thick and wavy just a couple inches past my shoulders.
Usually on the day that I wash it I wear it loose and wavy. It has a kind of messy look to it that I like. On the second day, I straighten it and then wear it straight until whenever I wash it again, usually 3 or 4 days later depending on how dirty it feels.
I usually don't do anything different for going out. I'd love to wear it in a loose bun from time to time, but my hair is so thick and heavy that a loose bun usually just gets pulled down eventually.
My hair is stick straight and all one length just past my shoulders. I wear it a variety of ways, down, ponytail, all up, half pulled up, clips on one side...
my hair's naturally wavy/curly and i for sure wear it down when going out but i often put it up at work, usually just flip my head down and twist into a messy bun. come to think of it, it goes up and down a lot during the day.
My hair is a little below shoulders, fine, wavy, and it's got a little layering at the ends with longer bangs.
I blow-dry out my bangs 99% of the time, because with the wavy hair, they go wild if I let them air dry. I also fight my cowlick when I do this because I like my bangs better on the cowlick side of my head.
For the rest of my hair, it's either down and straightened or made wavy.(Although my hair is naturally wavy, it curls under when air dried and I hate that. I have a complicated process of making the waves look better). Sometimes I just let it air dry and let the waves do their thing.
If I wear it up, I've let my hair air dry and then I pull it back into a messy bun, with the wavy pieces naturally falling out on the sides.
When I'm REALLY lazy, I just let it all air dry, bangs and everything, and then I pull back my bangs with bobby pins.
For going out, I do the straightening or "making" it wavy thing.
i just cut mine so i cant really do anything different, except some days straight and some days curly and that just depends on my outfit...but a week ago when my hair was a tad longer if i was going out i would sometimes put it in a side low ponytail or where it wavy and just down.
My hair is straight and fine and has layers. I always wear it up because I don't think the length looks good on me. I'd like to cut it shorter but then I wouldn't be able to wear it up... Actually, I have no idea what to do with it...
I have long straight hair with long layers that I usually start out the day wearing down and sometimes end up putting it in a ponytail. I have short bangs (like Jennifer Garner) that I wear straight down or to the side, but I am thinking of growing them out, since I have had them for a year and there isn't much you can do with long straight hair. I only blowdry it about once a week because I am lazy and also freak out about using heat on my hair.
Well my hair is dark brown/black, straight, long and medium I would say...not to fine, but definitely not full of volume. I wear it the same way I always have...straight and loose and long. It comes to my waist. Before I was married I had bangs, but my husband had me grow them out. Now that we are divorcing, I'm thinking maybe of cutting some sideswept bangs. But I doubt I'll do it. I'm a single mom now...bangs would add more time in to an already cramped morning routine!
My hair is sooooo long. It's down to my waist in the back, but I have layers in the front that are shorter. I usually wear it all crazy and wavy, kind of surfer-ish. If I pull it up, it's in a messy, wavy bun. I hardly ever straighten it. I did today b/c I had an interview, but I like it wavy/curly better.

That's me In a Ponytail rut. A few month ago I wanted a new style and the stylist ended up giving me what I called an overgrown mullet. The top layer was only about 3" long, second layer about 2 inches longer than that and the bottom layer was halfway donw my back.
The only way to control it is with a ponytail. I have thick, stick straight Asian hair that lays flat on the head, that kinks if I put it in a ponytail, so once it's up, it's pretty much gotta stay there. Needing to cut the bottom layer about 4 inches now so the middle layer can catch up to a more reasonable variance.
my hair is shoulder-length, and very fine and straight. I usually either blow-dry it and put it in rollers (gives me newscaster hair for about 10 minutes, but after that it's straight w/some body), or I put it in a knot at the top or back of my head. Every once in awhile I do a ponytail, but my ponytails are always sad, thin little things...

My hair is thick and layered. But even with layers to cut the thickness, I still have really thick hair. For all you girls with fine hair...I will be happy to donate portions of my hair to y'all.
I wear it in a half-ponytail which looks like a messy bun, sometimes put it in braids when I don't care how old people think I am, sometimes pigtails, sometimes under a hat, but mostly, I just wear bedhead. My hair does not get tangled easily, so bedhead actually looks sexy...now if only I could keep that effect going all day.
I have long, pin -straight hair w/ layers and side swept bangs. I usually curl my hair with a curling iron so it's wavy and adds more volume. Sometimes after I curl I'll wear my hair in a loose chignon.
