An anthro match made in heaven?

Since the dress is from Anthro, surely there'd be a coverup from Anthro that would work with it, right?

So do we like these together?

I've seen them both in person and I'm not sure if the coverup is too yellowy green for the dress.  It comes in beige though (i think)!  That would look nice.  I also have a short sleeve sweater shrug from there in coral, but it comes in more of a dark pine/olive green as well.  It is Moth, $68, and has gathering on the top of the sleeves.  It's this one, but i think it was darker in person.  It fits really cutely.

Yes it does come in a beige, which matches the lightest color of the dress perfectly. That's the one I got but there's no pic left on the anthro site, so I had to improvise with hotcocoa's shrug pic.

I don't know lilykind, since the dress is higher waisted, it seems like after the coverup ends, the waistline begins, covering the torso of the dress. I suggest trying it on in the store together to see.

I agree, I can't tell how it would look together...there might be too much going on at the top between the neck of the shrug and the belt part of the dress

I forgot to say that my dress does not have the brooch. Plus I'm a 36C so the shrug hits right where the brown cummrbund/waist begins.

I'm not sure how they'll look together, but I absolutely love the cardi.  I've been thinking about picking it up for weeks.

i think it's kinda funny that i bought that shrug on the same day that i returned that dress. i think the ivory shrug will look great with that dress. gosh, i wish i had tried them on together for you to make sure. if only i had known...

i love that dress btw... it fit me like a dream, but i looked like a dorky babydoll in it, so i had to return it.
