I don't think she will. We don't need another bland female pop singer singing easy to forget songs on B96 and Kiss (Chicago stations) But mainly I mean we don't need another 2 or 3 boring hit wonders on all the "play all the "it" pop songs over and over until we want to rip our hair out radio stations" out there. I would love to hear Bo thrown in on the classic rock or alternative-ish stations that aren't as well known. NO MORE BORING POP!!!! Go Bo!

I can't decide who should win. I hope they both get recording contracts.

I don't think Carrie is a typical pop singer. Really, none of the idol winners are typical pop-type singers. Kelly is the closest, but she is really fantastic; you know her latest album went double-platinum already. Ruben pretty much fell off the map, but he was more R&B anyway. Clay is around, but I kind of put him in the category of people like Josh Grobin, although he's nowhere near as talented (I know Clay didn't win, but he might as well have). Fantasia is R&B and her voice is very unique, not at all a pop-tart singer.

Carrie is country-pop, kind of like Shania Twain or Faith Hill. She too has a nice, unique voice. I still think Bo needs a band; I would put him in the category of great bands like Creedance Clearwater. He will do fine on his own, but I think he would do much better with a good band.

Anyway, I think this has been a real bang-up season. I don't know who will win, but they will both find success; that I have no doubt.

I'm all about Bo. I think that Carrie has an incredible voice, but I don't get excited watching perform. That is what music is about to me - having fun and being excited. I would love to see Bo in concert and I plan to as soon as he goes on tour:).

I'm sure they will both get contracts though.

i saw my first AI of this season last night, so i'm not sure i'm the best judge. i TOTALLY want Bo to win cuz carrie, while she's talented, i feel like it's been there, done that before. my only concern is that bo might have the possession charge going against him, depending on what the population of voters is (if it's anything like this year's past elections......we know who's going to win). i just didn't feel that presence with carrie either. do they announce it tonight?

What possession charge? I never heard about Bo being arrested! Although if it's just pot, then who cares, really? Probably the last 5 presidents smoked pot.

i hope bo wins. as farrah said he's really entertaining. carrie has a nice voice but she's kind of bland. i was watching clips of an interview with her this morning and she just seemed so dull.
