Speaking from experience (my recent 'stomach virus' turned out to be a pregnancy, but I lost it- but that's a different thread)...I was nauseated for about 8 weeks straight, had strange food cravings (could only eat certain things, then when I was done eating I would get sick and never want to see that food again). Also, I had extreme breast tenderness and bloating.  At about week 7, I started to feel some very slight weight gain in my waist area, nothing noticeable to anyone but me.  Nausea was the overwhelming feeling. I just didn't feel like myself and I just knew. Best of luck to you!  Keep us posted.

Nylabelle, I did not know about your pregnancy (and miscarriage) until now - wherever your other post is, I didn't see it - I just wanted to say how sorry I am for what you've had to go through. *hugs*

****Standard I'm Not A Doctor Disclaimer****

Hmmm, if you have taken your pills consistently you should have nothing to worry about. But if you are pregnant and having symptoms, it sounds to me like it might have happened last cycle which would make you about six weeks (if you ovulated, and around day 14 of your last cycle). The only way to be sure is to POAS (Pee On A Stick) - you can get inexpensive ones at the dollar store that are just as effective as the expensive brands. Take one now and if it comes out negative, you can always test again in two weeks (or wait for your period).

Each person is sooooo different - I've heard about some pretty interesting pregnancy symptoms, like:
Itchy nipples, heightened sense of smell, hot flashes, insomnia

and then your more regular ones of course:
Nausea, food aversions, fatigue, breast tenderness, food cravings

Try not to worry too much (easier said than done, I know) until you know more. The odds are that your worry is for naught. We're here for you whatever the outcome!

I never actually posted. I had too much going on. I was just insinuating that was another subject to discuss (didn't want to hijack the thread).  But thank you for the hugs.

Every woman is so different. I started feeling "pregnant" 5 days after ovulation - but some women never have any symptoms.

I felt nauseas, terrible heartburn, exhaustion, dizzy, and VERY thirsty. I didn't really have breast tenderness until about 8 weeks. Right before I was supposed to get my period I felt a lot of cramping - kind of like period cramps, but worse. (The nausea subsided around week 4 and picked up again around week 7).

The main thing is to relax - I know that is hard - but stress could postpone your period and upset you even more. Chances are that you are not pregnant - but no matter what, as Lmonet said - we're here...so keep us updated!

Thanks for clarifying that, and I do hope you're feeling / doing okay.

HUGS Nylabelle.. I am so sorry that happened... I wondered what ever came out of that.

Fashionista - My pregnancy symptoms came on like 2 weeks after conception - fatigue, nausea, boob tenderness, cramping - i tested a day after i missed my period and i got a positive. With my first baby, I felt pregnant right away, but I didn't get a positive test until 3-4 weeks after a missed period.

How long has it been since you've missed a period?
