Undereye Circles
Permalink Closed

So it seems that this past year at college has given me permanent undereye circles that I can't seem to get rid of (and according to a magazine article I once read, having olive toned skin makes you predisposed to getting them.) I figured once I went back to getting sufficient sleep they would go away, but no luck. Are there any remedies that you know of or undereye creams that work? I don't wear foundation or concealer, so I really don't want to resort to any kind of coverup.

I have tried several under eye creams, and have had minimal results. I will say that I feel mine are pretty bad, made worse with a pretty decent sized vein under each of my eyes, and thin skin. Of those that I've tried, Benefit's eyecon was probably the best. I noticed a difference with in a few days, however that's as good as they got. It didn't continue to erase my circles. I wear cover up too, and still have visable circles. I wish you the best of luck, and for the love of all that is good in the world, report back if you find some sort of magnificent magical cream!

Hmmm, since you haven't had them forever I might have an idea -

I remember reading somewhere that undereye circles can sometimes be caused by a deficiency in some vitamin/mineral.

Maybe try googling it?  Or maybe WebMD?

I like Goodskin (owned by Estee Lauder) Instant Lightening Eye Cream from Kohls. It's the only one i've tried that doesn't sting or make me cry. If you have a Kohls nearby you can actually try it on before you buy.

Maybe try cucumber slices or tea bags.  I don't know - but it could be worth a shot.
