How many pairs of shoes you haven't worn?

Ah spring. Searching my closet on the high shelf for shoes not worn since last summer. Oops, I forgot I had those shoes, and those, and those! Shoes I haven't worn for at least two years. And why haven't I worn them? Because they hurt my feet.

But I cannot part with them. I am not going to add up the total dollar value of these unworn shoes.

At least six pairs of lovely shoes gathering dust. I know that, in light of much that is going on in the world today, this is not a tragedy. Still, I feel sorry for my lonely shoes.

I probably have about 5-6 pairs too. I wear them occasionally, but I always hate myself for doing it since they're so uncomfortable.

I have a ridiculous amount of shoes that I don't wear.  I've come to the conclusion that I really only need a carefully edited shoe wardrobe b/c I always come back to the same ones anyway.

I have shoes in so many categories. Like I have some 4 inchers that I only wear when my bf and get dressed up to have dinner in...I can only stand for about 30 min. in them, but they are so hot...
They really should go though, the last time we did that was 2 years ago...

I recently went through my wardrobe & sold all of the shoes I have never worn or worn once or twice on ebay. I would guess it has been about 20 pair - RIDICULOUS!!! I also went through & figured out complete looks from my closet. Time & time again I chose one pair over another, since I had similar style/colors, etc & that really helped. The ones that I came up with that I haven't worn but really really wanted to keep I made an outfit for those shoes so I could justify keeping them. At first purging this many pairs of shoes from my closet was causing me physical pain, but I realized that I just made room for more / new / better / more versatile shoes, so I'm happy about that.

I also got rid of any shoes that hurt me terribly - life is too short to walk around in uncomfortable shoes - even for a few hours & if the shoes are fabulous. What I am finding out is that I can find really fabulous shoes that are also comfortable (well, USUALLY).

There are probably around ten I never wear or only wore once.  Some because of comfort, some because they are just too dressy.  Funny you mention it because I just sold three pair of them on ebay.  I made only a few bucks profit, but one sell was a pair of bridesmaid sandals that I reduced to 0.99 at the last minute to get one bid!  Now I am off to the post office...

Well, I bought 2 pairs of flats from UO recently and never wear them. They're not very comfortable. :( So, they sit in the closet, and I feel bad. Also, I can't bare to part w/ shoes that no longer fit. They (about 10 pair) just sit at the top of my closet and collect dust reminding me of the time I wore stilettos almost daily.

I have about 4 that I don't wear that often. They are my rock star or special occasion shoes so I don't feel bad. I did donate a couple of Target shoes that I have never worn and I've had for about 2 years. Don't feel so bad about those, since they were cheap.

I probably have about 15+ pairs that I only wear sometimes as in  about 2 times ever!!
