I just finished Bergdorf Blondes, and am almost done reading Confessions of a Shopaholic. I LOVED B. Blondes, and Shopaholic was good, but I herd that the rest of the series isnt too great. Any good ideas for a book similar to Bergdorf Blondes?? Thanks soo much:)

can't thin of any right now, but I loved the entire shopoholic series (except maybe the last one...)...although at times it made me feel guilty cause it hit a little too close to home.
I absolutely LOVE the the Shopaholic books. Also, try reading Can You Keep A Secret, by Sophie Kinsellla. I have a ton more similar books to recommend, but they are all packed up for my upcoming move and I just can't, for the life of me, think of the titles. I will post again if they come to me.
I just read Confessions of a Shopaholic and Shopaholic Takes Manhattan and I loved both. I'm midway through Shopaholic Ties the Knot and I think it's just as good. Give them all a try - I think they are great.
I'd also recommend The Devil Wears Prada (loved this book) and The Nanny Diaries. Search around amazon.com for chick lit - you can find a ton of suggestions.

Oh I second the recommedation of "In Her Shoes" great book!
If you want, I can go home and look through my books and post some more I'd recommend?
i just finished bergdorf blondes as well. i really liked candace bushnell's book "4 blondes" or something to that effect- it was similiar to the writing of BBlondes... also, i don't know if you ever read any of bridget jones' diaries but they are really good easy beach reads too. i second devil wears prada- (did you hear that it is going to be a movie?)

Really who is playing the main character do you know?
Devil Wears Prada was good, I got a little sick of these type of books for now.
I am now reading "PREP" (figures I know), but it is really good. It is about a young girl who decided to go to boarding school on the east coast and doesn't quite fit in...it brings me back to HS, when everyone feels that they don't really fit in.

"Trading Up" is a longer book featuring one of the girls from "4 Blondes," which I didn't like a whole lot...it is entertaining but the main character is just not very likeable. I like Bridget Jones a lot (the books are better than the movies--as always, IMO).

Oh my god, I hated the book Trading Up because I hated the main character so much. Could she be anymore shallow?!! I actually put the book down half way through and never finished it, it was so bad.
Two more books I'd highly recommend that aren't chick lit are "The Lovely Bones" and "The Notebook"

i believe it is Meryl Streep that is playing the boss modeled after Anna Wintours... it was seriously brought up in our last corporate meeting... we are nutso about that kind of stuff at work... probably b/c none of us are like her!
Not about fashion, but my favorite of the chick lit books is Pride, Prejudice, and Jasmine Field by Melissa Nathan. I laughed outloud several times when I first read it.
