I like this site because it has so many forum topics, you can post about anything here. I also like the setup of the forum, like how a thread is bumped up when a post is added. Everyone is so nice and I like to get ideas from Threadstyle.

I have always considered myself mostly fashionable, but being a part of this site has completely changed my style for the better. I have been trying to get out of the "black" habit for some time - it seemed like when given a choice I always reached for black. I feel like now my wardrobe is much more colorful & fun.

Everyone is supportive, respectful, & non-judgemental - agree that you aren't expected to "conform" to a designer wardrobe or a certain look / style. I enjoy seeing everyone's style, even if I wouldn't incorporate it into my own wardrobe.

I can come here & chat about the tv shows / current events / pop culture that my real life friends or DH don't know or care about.

Sometimes I just need a second opinion as to whether something I am about to wear is ugly so I don't go out in that looking like an idiot & have everyone talk about me!!!!!

I love this site because:

I have been able to talk about things I wouldn't reveal to anybody around!

I am not ashamed anymore if I buy stuff at target or walmart.

I can see on stylethread that even if 2 people have the same exact pieces, each person will wear them in a different way, which I LOVE!

There is nobody around here I can really talk about fashion

Everybody is so nice, it's almost scary.

And everybody is so smart/wise/thoughtful, is even scariere!

I love this site because of the variety of resources it provides. The information here is valuable, I get at least as much from this site and the archived forums than I do from a paid monthly magazine subscription. I like that so many of the members have been around for so long.

I have always thought of myself as fashionable, but being here has given me new ideas and insight and I think I am even better off now, I love to see how people work in different kinds of pieces and make a look all their own. Everyone is really nice and it is a great place to go when you are bored and have nothing else to do!!
