Caring for Jeans

I was just wondering how all of you care for your designer jeans.  I have a few pairs of COH's and James Jeans and I noticed after washing them, I no longer have that crease on the front of the leg.  Do you girls take yours to the dry cleaner?  Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've never taken jeans to a dry cleaner.

I don't really need a crease in my jeans, I put all of mine in the regular wash. They hold up okay to me.

I probably should have said that I like that crease in my jeans...

Thanks Rocky!

I don't have designer jeans, but I take dark trouser jeans to the dry cleaner. Or, since I'm poor now, I wash them on the gentle cycle and fold them carefully over a hanger to dry to put the crease back in (matching the inseams, then draping) It doesn't look as good, but it will do for where I live right now. (So not a creased-jeans kind of town).

i'm sensitive about the crease too. i wash them inside out and then fold them lengthwise along the crease, matching  up the seams, and put them away. this works for me, however i only wear them 1-2 times a week so the crease has time to set. i'm not sure if this would work on jeans that you wear everyday.

I don't wear them everyday either, so maybe this would work for me.  So you fold along the crease and don't hang them up at all?

no, i don't hang them b/c they take up too much space (tiny closet) and they're usually so heavy that they drag down the hanger. i fold them the same way the do in stores. i match up the seams, then flatten them along the crease, fold them in half, and in half again with the back pocket on the outside. (can you tell i'm a little anal about my clothes.) it works pretty well. i bet if you ironed them along the crease they would hold the shape even more.

I was thinking of ironing them and then folding them along the creases and hanging them ( I have no room to fold my jeans) - thanks for the advice.  I'll try that.
