If I were you I would ask my stylist for a brand recommendation from the beauty supply store. I have learned my lesson after getting way too many bad product recommendations from the girls who work at Sally's. Just let him/her know your price point and they should be able to make a recommendation. Oh, and perhaps he/she may know of someone who would cut you a break. My stylist has really been awesome about cutting me price breaks because my income has depleted so much and he said that a lot of stylists are doing similar things for their clients. You never know if you don't ask though right?!
