so is that suppose to make me WANT to buy the jeans?!?!?  cuz i'd say it actually makes me NOT want to buy them ... much less pay $200+ to have her name on my jeans.

That's awful.  Are they actually more expensive than plain old R&Rs?  I don't know about you guys, but I foresee Loehmann's and TJ Maxx getting these at some point, ha!

Ok, I have a small fetish with crowns, so I actually like the first pair, but would pair it with a belt to cover up the tag, that is if it doesn't come off.  And I most certainly wouldn't pay $200+!!!

I like the crown on the butt too, but I am not a fan of the patch. I don't really mind the "R" either.

i'm right there with you, i don't mind the crown, i even think it's cute, but the patch has to go.  i think they will sell because isn't england obsessed with victoria beckham?  they can have her, i'll take her husband.  yum!!!

I really like the crown too.  I'm sure the hideous patch could easily be removed w/ a seam ripper.


I do hope they show up at TJ Maxx, cause I'm not going to pay $200 for them!

Yuck! What were they thinking with that ugly patch? And for $200? That means the patch with Victoria's name must run you about $20 since plain old R&R's are $180.

I think the new R&R with the blue flames cost more too. They are just raising prices since they are in such high demand. I actually like the crown, and would take the tag off. I have done this to other jeans easily.

I saw them at Sak's this weekend and thought I would try a pair on for kicks to see how it compared to regular R&R's and I didnt like the fit on these at all!!!  There was just something about them.  Plus they all have that wash that is very grainy which makes me think of cheap jeans.

I like the crown, but if those make it to Loehmanns for $89 and they fit me well, I'd get them and tke the seam ripper to the tag.


I actually really really like the regular Rock and Republic tag and those jeans...mmm Scorpion and Kravitz...I want you both!

I didn't like the crown, just not subtle enough for me, I do prefer the Rs.  I still like the rainbow pockets best.  And I am with you girls, I don't think the Victoria Beckham name is going to encourage people in the US to buy, but time will tell.  Why is the patch so big?  I guess I think it looks better with either one or the other, either the big obvious patch by itself, or the big obvious crown.  If I had to choose, I would choose the crown over the patch.

The crown is cute, in a consciously glitzy/cheesy kinda way, but as everyone else is saying - those tags are hideous!
