STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

So, I bought this white button up business-like shirt from express, and some black BCBG pumps, and I have a terry cloth (but u really cant tell its terry cloth) mini skirt and was wondering can you put a button up shirt with a mini? The shirts not too long, hits right below my waiste..I normally stick to beaters and tee's if I wear a mini.. so is this a bad idea or a ok one? Thanks!!
