I really love this dress, but I'm wondering if it would look okay on me? I think this kind of dress looks great on more shapely girls (like it would just skim the curves), but I'm anything but that. I'm really little-- not just thin but with a really small frame.

cc, kel? I know you guys are small too. Would you wear this style dress?

I think it would look good on you, you cant try it on first though so you can know for sure? I've seen some of those in the juniour dept. at Nordstroms.

That dress is adorable, but it would look hideous on me. I can't remember how similar are body types are though (wow, that sounds kind of weird). I've got a reeeeally small frame and I do have some curves down below (waist-hips-butt), I am seriously flat-chested so tube tops do not work for me. That style in particular would probably make me look consumptive.

Even if you can't try on that particular dress, maybe take Tati's suggestion of going to a department store and looking for something in that style.

LOL. you put it PERFECTLY! that's exactly what I'm afraid of. cc, I think you're skinnier than me, but we both have very small frames. I've posted pics on the threadstyle board if you have time to check them out & want to see. I'm seriously lacking in boobage too, but I would wear it with a bra with some padding (as I always do with tubes).

Tati, it's from a webstore, so I can't try it on, but maybe I will check out nordstrom and see if they have anything similar. thank you!

If you wear tube tops already then I really think this dress would look cute on you. I really like it, hope it works out for you!

If you already wear tubes and strapless things, you'd probably be fine. I am also super pale and don't have the best posture so that adds to that sexy consumptive look that I can have sometimes! One thing I do with things that are sort of low and cut straight across is to wear a chunky necklace or scarf to distract from the expanse of my pale, flat chest, although I don't know if that will work with this dress since it could take away from the embroidery.
