Favorite Flats for around $30.
Permalink Closed

So, in an effort to dress up my casual wardrobe, I find myself in need of some flats to wear on errands and to casual family/friend events. It never occurs to me to buy flats (I so have a love affair with high heels) so I need a few pairs, but don't want to spenda lot because I don't know how much I will really wear them.

If you could post some favorite flats, in the $30 range, I'd appreciate it.

Instead of getting a few pairs for $30, I'd advise you to get 1 quality pair for more money... cheap flats are usually very uncomfy and tend to give blisters.

I love Steve Madden flats. Usually there are good deals to be had on amazon and the SM website. Aldo's website always surprises me with their hefty discounts, too. HTH!

The Gap has had cute fabric flats this season. I bought some yellow peep-toe flats with bows that make me smile every time I wear them. They're usually $30-$40 and go lower when on sale. Old Navy sometimes has cute flats as well and they're in the $20-$30 range. Maybe check out DSW.com, I'd be suprised if you didn't find something you liked, they have good prices on Steve Madden as well!

I second the Steve Madden (surprising since most of their other shoes hurt my feet.) I have these two pairs in patent black & patent purple and wear them all the time. The dark purple is actually one of the most versatile shoes that I own.  They're on sale at Endless for $38 right now, but I think I paid less for them last year at DSW.

I also have a pair of BCBG flats in gold that I get compliments on every time I wear them.   Any sort of metallic shoes dress up even a basic t-shirt & jeans outfit.  I suggest go to a DSW or a Nordstrom Rack or some place that discounts good shoes and trying on a bunch until you find the ones that are most comfy for you.
