My casual wardrobe needs your help

I don't even know how to elaborate past the title of my post. It just needs help. I have gotten lazy with my weekend around the house and errand clothes. Mostly, it is jeans and a colored v-neck tee.

Help! My Saturday day look needs reinventing!

Oooh!  I'll help....I was in a similar situation, and here's what I have added to my weekend wear, a couple casual tees with some details to make them more interesting and some incredibly comfy skirts to go with them:

I am in loooooooove with both of these skirts - so comfy!

I also try to dress up a plain tee with a chunky necklace or cuff bracelets.

I'm w/jj, I'm ALL ABOUT dressing up a plain T w/ACCESSORIES (earrings/BIG necklace/bracelts). My weekend look is usually shorts/T-shirt or a cute shirt, but the accessories REALLY make a difference!!

I like to dress my weekend wear up with cute shoes too. Honestly, I work in a really casual office so my weekend wear isn't much different from my weekday wear.

Cute shoes can really upgrade a casual outfit.  So many people just throw on flip flops that when you wear actual shoes, you automatically look more pulled together by comparison.   If you want to get the most use out of the shoes, try to keep them relatively neutral but still interesting.

I definitely do all of the above mentioned tactics. Jeans, a pretty t-shirt with cute detailing, a few bangle bracelets, a scarf and cute shoes- instant casual upgrade. I've been trying to get away from wearing flip flops and instead, I've been wearing cute, flat leather sandals. Just as comfy, but way cuter.

In addition to the above with accessories/shoes, the same basic "uniform" can be upgraded a bit, depending...like your jeans could be black skinnies or trouser-leg, and your top can be an a-line jersey tank or a halter in a good print.

For casual weekend stuff I prefer not to spend a lot, so I'm fine with places like Target, TJ Maxx, etc. However, I definitely dress differently for "around the house" than I do for errand-running.
