graduation gift?

I'm thinking of getting one of these as a graduation gift for our 17-year-old-niece. She loves silver jewelry and likes to pile on bracelets and rings. don't want to get her a ring though because we don't know her size. She's very fashionable (the girl wears seven jeans). What do you guys think?

necklace:

or bracelet:

or this bracelet:

or this locket: I'm not sure about this because I've never seen her wear dainty jewelry. But I was thinking of this might be a good idea because she can put a picture of her mother inside. Her mom passed away when she was a little girl.

I think the first necklace or the locket (so sweet w/a pic of mom in it!).

I like the locket or the first necklace the best.  Honestly, I'm not really liking any of them that much, but I'm not 17 (could be a problem ).  I'm sure you know her style though.

I like the sea-themed bracelet (but I am partial to anything mermaid-esque) or the locket.  The first necklace looks cheap IMO.

I like the locket for a graduation gift, although it really depends on her personality. Either of the bracelets would be really cool if they were a reflection of her (like if she was in love with the beach or if she really liked elephants).

Hi... Our daughter graduated last year and one of her favorite gifts was a charm necklace with several charms.  We bought it at a local boutique, but there is a website that I have ordered additional charms from and they were very helpful.  We did the chain and the charms 'inspire' and 'grace' along with an angel and a princess crown.  We've since added other charms.  I have one as well and it is an absolute treasure and something you would definitely keep forever.  Our daughter is now almost 19 and this is something she wears alot and really loves.   You can customize to the person so easily and with special meaning.

Here is the website: http://www.ekspressions.com/necklace.html

Look under 'necklaces; and 'add a charm'.  There is also a 'word list'.

Hope this helps.
