I was curious on how the adoption process was going. I knew you posted you were starting it a few months ago, but I don't think I have heard how it was going since then. Just curious.

We finished the home study a couple of weeks ago and we are now waiting on our appointment with the INS to be fingerprinted.
We are also getting our Dossier ready for CHina---lots of documents noterized and requested---financial statements, 401K, Proof of heath and life insurance, passport copies, marriage license, birth certs, proof of employment, doctor physicals, guardianship letters, 5 references, criminal background checks in every county you have lived in past 7 years, photos of house and family life, letter to Chinese government explaining why you want to adopt, etc.
We are almost done with all the above and then you get it translated into CHinese and send it all to DC and then to CHina----
We also have 30 hours of adoption classes and education to go to but they have been really good and informative. We have enjoyed them!
We are also raising money for our trip to CHina so we have been selling ebay pretty heavily---(made $1100 so far), we are selling my Old Jeep, having a yard sale in two weekends and having a real auction in the fall.

Wow, that is something to admire!!! All the efforts you are doing are just outstanding, you and your SO should be very proud. In the future I would also like to adopt, so its kinda cool seeing the different processes one has to go through. Good Luck!
