I think someone did something similar and put up old movie posters or old vogue cover posters to do a whole black and white vintage theme.

Check out ebay for old posters.

I'm not too sure what you're looking for in a theme (animal prints, vintage, deco, etc), but whatever one you decide to go with, lots of texture is always good to use when you're doing a monochromatic or bi-color room - keeps it interesting. Have you looked at White House Black Market? Their website is www.whiteandblack.com and all they have there is black & white stuff.

I think a vintage Parisian kind of theme/feel would be pretty. Maybe even with small accents of either red or even pink.

What about a black/white toile theme? Black/white toile with red accents or yellow accents would look really sharp. Not everyone likes toile...I love it! Article about toile themed rooms at this link:
