I am in search of a cute breezy chic v-neck long dress...in a cotton or gauzey fabric...
The only thing I can't do is the prairie type b/c the added ruffles and stuff are not good for the thighs...
Something like these: just not as expensive...TIA

Jessica's dress is Antik Batik which is sold at Netporter.com around $400...no thanks!

Sophia's dress is Ya-Ya $242

I like the red one, but I really want long long and the Lilly one is exactly what I asked for I dare say it is a Lilly dress that I don't like...funny since I am such a Lilly girl.

I am really drawn to these right now and think it would be perfect for a night cooking out on the grill with our friends when we go to Palm Beach in June...with gold thong sandals and some wood bangles...oh I want one so bad. Please someone find me one....

Why do I have to be before the trend....why can't the cheap retailers get it too....?? Thanks for looking everyone! I might just have to bite the bullet and get the Ya Ya one...or maybe I could have one made...?? Has anyone done this? How cute would it be in a light pink seersucker, not the striped seersucker, just the fabric that is all one color???

OK so I've totally been stalking your thread, ever since you posted those dresses I'm in that "I must have one" state of mind. Since the dresses seem to be scarce in any normal price range what about just pairing a long skirt with a halter top?




And then just pairing a white linen halter with it?

chic - I too have been stalking this thread and now that I checked and neither of those Ya Ya dresses are in a size that  I need I found some alternatives you might like, or at least I'm considering...

I like the idea of these paired with a fitted denim jacket.  Plus it's always good to have a cute dress hanging on your closet.
