HELP! In need of new hairstyle...
Permalink Closed

i usually just put my hair up in a ponytail, leave it down, or scrunch it sometimes (even though i never achieve the look im going for). What else can i do with my hair? It seems like whenever i try to do the "sexy messy up-do" it doesn't look sexy at all...just REALLY messy! I have very straight, thick, medium-length hair and am clueless about what to do with it. Any suggestions for some new styles?

your hair sounds beautiful, i'd leave it down as much as possible.  also, try putting a little shine serum on the ends (NOT the roots) for extra fabulous-ness.

i've been loving the half-up, half-down look lately with hair parted on the side and a little volume at the crown.  i'm not describing it very well... eva mendes does this style a lot.  very brigitte bardot-inspired.

I have straight, super thick hair that brushes the top on my chest and before I got layers, my hair was dead flat and iron straight all the time. I would defintely get layers that start at chin length to give your hair some volume and movement...it will really help. Now I can air dry my hair while I sleep and it's kinda sexy bedhead-y messy when I wake up. I just use a little of the Brilliant Brunette cream (can't remember the name...) to define the ends and I'm ready to go. HTH.
