what vacation is complete without a little local shopping? (and hhi wasn't exactly rife with thrifts) so i stopped at sacks consignment (24 palmetto bay road). what a great store! they had a ton of chanel, pucci, etc; and a bunch of other labels. (including a gorgeous prada purse that was probably a steal at 300. very unusual red and black leather) the ladies working there couldn't have been nicer, either.
