I work in a conservative law firm . . . opinions please?

Hmmmm.  It really depends on their definition of conservative.  I know nothing about law firm dress codes, but I always picture gray, black, or navy business suits with neutral blouses and closed toe shoes.  I guess it is from watching too much Law and Order.  Those clothes you listed are conservative in terms of style, but they may not be in terms of color.  Could you just ask the PR person at the law firm and see if he/she could tell you?
