I finally decided to buy a nice pair of high end jeans.  I tried on some Sevens in a bunch of different styles and sizes, and they all had the same problem, even the ones that were too small in the thighs:  the back waistband area had a huge gap.   Does anyone else have this problem?  I'm thinking that my body shape is just wrong for Sevens.   I'm about 5'4" and usually wear a size 2, but I don't have the "straight" body type.  I have the back waist problem a lot, but Gap long and leans size 2 tend not to do it.  Are there any good jeans that fit similar to those?

Sorry if I'm the zillionth person to ask a silly question like this.

Sevens fit me like crap too.  I've tried on a bunch of different sizes and styles and they all just don't fit me right or flatter.

Try Citizens for Humanity jeans.  I love them.  I have the Ingrids and Elles and love them.  HTH!

I think someone said that they just bring them to a tailor and get them taken in at the waist.  I have that same problem and don't look forward to the day I decide to try on some higher end jeans.  I've been wanting sevens for a while but not if they do this.  I have been looking into COH lately.  Maybe try them?

I am 5'4" sz. 2 as well and i've tried many designer jeans that look terrible on me (AG, PD+C, sevens, C of H,), however Rock and Republic Scorpians are unbelievably flattering. And for non-designer, Express jeans always work great for me.

Keep looking, if you are going to spend the money for designer brand, make sure it's worth it.  I will buy cheap jeans if thet look "okay" but I am much pickier about the higher end denim.  Of course, a smart shopper should be picky about all purchases, but I have "bargain disease!"

definitely try coh, the fit is more forgiving to different body types.  I love sevens, but I have to admit that my body does look better in coh.  oh and I tried on R&R scorpions and they did not look good on me, wah!!

I don't have that problem with my 7's but everybody's body type is so different.  I also love my COH's and TR's (so stretchy!).  I find AG's don't fit my butt and hips, R & R's and James have looked ridiculous on me thus far.  I also love my A&F casual jeans.

try Joe's Jeans--two good fits are Socialite & Honey. The Honey is especially cut for curvier women (and I do mean literally curvy, not nec. larger) so I bet they would not gap in the back.
