all up and down my temples!  i haven't had acne this bad since i was in high school.  my fiance and mother both actually thought it was an allergic reaction, it is that bad.

i've had them for months and thought they'd go away by now but they got worse!  and i switched to an acne wash and spot treatment and am not wearing makeup or picking and they are only getting marginally better.

any tips?  no derms can fit me in to see me....

keep calling the derms every morning to see if they had any cancellations ask to be on the list to call if they have an opening or go to a "DOC in the BOX" clinic where they are jack of all trades master of none.

In the mean time buy cortizone cream and put it on with a benzoyl peroxide cream. Other things that work: Astara blue flame mask (sephora). Hope this helps and good luck it is definitely stress related.

Also call your makeup artist if you have one and verify that she can cover up the zits. If not do a makeup counter raid

Drew posted in the beauty forum under the tend skin recipe about tea tree oil and it seems like it has worked miracles for some people and acne.  Maybe worth checking out.

try tea tree oil. i love it and it works great and FAST!

i also like the mario badescu drying lotion but you have to use it at night because of the pink dots you'll have after applying it.

good luck and keep your stress down!

A word of warning RE: tea tree oil.  I am not allergic to many things, but I am to this!  When I tried it, it gave me huge cystic zits all around the one I was trying to heal!  Your results may vary, but I wouldn't try any new ingredients on my skin right before my wedding.

When I have a breakout I need to get rid of fast, I use 'mask therapy' - Queen Helene's Mint Julep works well.  Put it on the area, let it dry, remove with a warm wash cloth, repeat.  I usually try to do it 3 times or so, then slather myself with benzoyl peroxide and cortisone.  If they are deep, you can also add a heat/cold regime.  Once they start to get flaky, start in with the moisturizer instead of the BP.  Also, if you don't already, take a multi vitamin (helps you heel quicker and I find it helps me not to scar as badly).  Oh, and try to keep your hair and/or hair products off your face.

Apply ice to the zits and they will shrink some.  Visine (eye drops) take away the redness.  Benzyl peroxide will dry those puppies out if you want to give it a try.  I use DDF 5% BP gel from sephora and its a life saver.

If theydon't go away and you get absolutely desparate, try this Estee Lauder concealer:

http://www.esteelauder.com/templates/products/sp_shaded_color.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY5846&PRODUCT_ID=PROD1720

I have it, and it works wonders if I just need to cover something up because I can't make it go away.  It stays on really, really well and you don't need to put a huge amount on to conceal the zits. If it's a big zit, the 'bump' will still be there, but it will be the same color as the rest of your face, so at least it won't show up in the pictures!

thanks for the advice, girls.  i woke up this morning and actually they looked a little better - I think my routine is finally paying off, but slowly. the products i'm using right now have salycic acid in them and it seems to be helping.

the BP idea is a good one, shoulda thought of that one earlier...
