I am moving withint NYC soon and will need my closets "fixed." I used California Closets and LOVED them but they're quite expensive. I know there are other companies and was wondering if you guys have used any others or heard good/bad things about any.

Have you looked at Home Depot/Lowes?  Not quite as customized but their units might work if your space is fairly standard.
