If you are a 36 or larger, the Goddess bustier is marvelous (link is to Nordstom's: http://makeashorterlink.com/?Q3FE25F0B). It goes up to a FF size (and also a 50!).

I have yet to really find a good one and I've been looking for years.  I tried a wacoal one on not too long ago and didn't really like it.  I kinda liked the new Angels one at VS.  That sucker wasn't going to go anywhere but I didn't keep the dress I bought it for so I returned it so I can't review it.  I might though go and get it this week.

I was at VS one day when someone was asking about strapless bras and keeping them up and the sales girl at the time said the mistake people make with getting strapless bras is that they get their normal bra size and you can't do that in a strapless bra.  You have to go a band size smaller than normal but not sure about the cup size part.  I could defintely tell a difference between what I thought was my normal size and what I wear now.  Maybe if you are say a 36D go with a 34D or 34DD and see if that works.

True, true stuff.  I went up a cup size and down a band size w/my VS strapless and it stays up beautifully.  Took a bit of getting used to, but now I don't even notice it when it's on.

Thanks.  I think I'll go to VS today and check out their selection.  I'm usually a 36D, so maybe I'll try a 34DD this time.  Not looking forward to it, though.  I HATE BRA SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Cricket did you have any luck? I went to VS on Saturday and tried on all the freaking strapless bras in the place and walked out with a Very Sexy of all things!  It isn't going anywhere.  I liked the way the Angels on fit the best but it wasn't tight enough on the rib cage.  The Very Sexy one I was able to jump up and down in the dressing room multiple times and that sucker didn't move an inch.  If you didn't make it by go try that strapless one on.  The girl at VS said the way to tell if its the right size or not is to jump up and down in a strapless and if it doesn't move then its the right size (band wize).

My mom broke down and got a Wacoal bra this weekend and loves it.  She is going to try it on in a strapless version. She said it has that plastic stuff on the top of the cups that is suppose to keep it up.

If you don't mind me asking - what size did you end up getting in your strapless bra?  Did you size down in the band size and up in the cup?  I have the same problem w/strapless bras, so I'm interested.  Also, which very sexy bra did you buy?

Nope, not yet.  I'm definitely going tomorrow.  The wedding is on Saturday.  I will try on Very Sexy first.  Thanks for the tips!  Oh, what colors did they have?

I got the newest very sexy deep plunge one (has removable water pads) and I got my normal size (34D).  I tried on all the other ones in my normal size and the bands were all a good one to two inches too big.  For some reason this band feels a size smaller which is good.

Definetly try on the new very sexy one and jump up and down in it.

I went to VS last Fri and tried the same that Isubatgirl bought.

It is really good, the band is much tighter than the other ones, and it seems to stay in place. I, too, tried my usual size. I didn't buy it just b/c I don't need it for now and there were other things I need right now, but I think I am going back soon.

lsubatgirl - is it the convertible bra? it comes w/a set of clear straps too, and you can wear it a ton of ways including strapless?  I hope so because it's the one i've been wanting!

Well, I went.  First of all, I wish their SA's would quit cramming their "Angels Card" down my throat every time I walk in there.  Anyway, I got the Very Sexy convertible bra.  Not the plunge.  It didn't stay up as well.  I did get my regular size and I really love it.  And LSU, I jumped up and down and thought of you!  Thanks!

oh the angels card drives me nuts! I was waiting while the SA was on hold with another store and while she was on hold she tried to cram a card down my throat.  I was like I'm not signing up for the card when you don't have what I want at the store!!!!
