What is everyones favorite fragrance??

I'm getting a girlfreind a perfume for her bday.  I was going to get her Stella but then I found out that she has it and it's her favorite. (I was going to get her Stella because so many ppl here wear it - otherwise I wouldn't know bc I have a terrible sense of smell)  Anyway so what are some others that you guys love besides Stella?

i like chanel chance and wear it everyday

I love Stella and wear it all the time so maybe your friend and my tastes will be similar (although that's rare).


My absolute all time favorite is Allure by Chanel. It is so damn sexy! I feel sexier just by smelling it.


For spring/summer daytime I really like L'Occitane's Linden. It smells like real flowers. Really good. But it's not an expensive perfume like Stella or Chanel.

I seriously am a fragrance junkie. I think if your friend likes Stella she might like Calypso Mimosa or The. Both aren't typically floral but I feel like I can see similarities in the fragrances. Also you get a huge bottle (I think 3.4fl oz ) for $50.. good deal.

Maybe you could try getting her a body lotion or cream that she could possibly layer with Stella? Maybe a Tocca body cream? They feel great. I actually love the Stella scent! Calypso also makes a great body cream.

Can I also suggest possibly getting her three roll-on notes from Susanne Lang? You can pick three of your choice and they could be things she could even wear with her favorite fragrance.

Also I forgot to name scents I like.

I haven't bought a typical dept. store fragrance in years because I never thought that dept. store scents were fine tuned enough.. but I think now they've caught up with me. Lately I'm liking alot of things.

I bought Eternity Summer and I love this. I seriously wear it almost everyday.
Smelled Stella Sheer and like that (maybe it would be fun to get her the sheer version of her favorite scent?)
Very Irresistible by Givenchy Summer is really nice (tried that at Sephora and wearing the sample today)
Bobbi Brown Beach (I'm obsessed with "beach" "summer" anything)

Others I like:
Frederic Malle Lipstick Rose - my scent for early spring / winter
Frederic Malle Iris Poudre - winter
Frederic Malle Le Parfum de Therese - fall / winter
L'artisan Mure et Musc - basically blackberry, I do alot of fragrance combining with this! Love to wear this and Calypso Mimosa.

My absolute fav is petite cherie by annick goutal. I also like pink sugar and comptoir sud pacifique in Vanille Banane....soooo yummy!

My favorite is Amazing Grace (philosophy).


I adore all the Chanel scents (esp. Chance and Allure) but they smell terrible on me.
