I'm looking to buy a bunch of v-neck tees to live in for the rest of the summer. for work they cannot be too low cut and I would like to stay away from anything too boxy....cool cotton but still fitted- and for home a few that are more slouchy

what is your current fav v-neck tee?

Well I LOVE AA's, both the tri-blend and regular sheer jersey:

I also just discovered these Gap ones, which are almost identical to the AA ones:

I'm with Carrie on the Gap ones. I don't know if you have an outlet near you but they're usually on sale for 50% off there, making them about $7. I have them in at least 10 colors.

For the slouchy home tee, my favorite is the JCrew boyfriend tissue tee. Nice lightweight cotton and a great fit. They are on sale right now too!

I'm really loving Express's tees lately. They're not too boxy, but not so fitted that I don't want to wear them to work.

I have some of these that are fitted but comfy and can sorta be dressed up/down for work.  Had them for years, they hold up nicely and do not shrink.

Also for around the house/gym I buy the men's 2 pack of V necks (comes in white and black):

Ditto - I love the tri-blend v-neck tees from AA. They're so soft.

thanks so much for the input everyone!

After a LOT of trying on, i have decided to order/have ordered:

1) American Apparel tri-blend v-neck (i wish it came in traditional solid colors, rather than the heathered colors- will buy the grey on ebay)

2) American Eagle V-neck T (slub cotton in a quite fitted cut- really love this one- will buy many colors once a good coupon code comes out)

3) J crew slub cotton twisted v-neck in white (if i can hunt one down in my size)

4) norma kamali for walmart- organic cotton bird tee- $5 on sale at my local store, but runs rather big- the x-small fits like an ae medium. ive never bought a top with a screen print before- has been interesting

5) jcrew tissue tie-dye.....a big maybe

6) may also order this from ae to sleep in
