Before you scream "NOOOO" please just think about this one:

I'm picturing '70s glam, with a huge floppy hat, low-wedge sandals and a slingy hobo. Cute? My main reservation is that I'm quite tiny (think Nicole Ritchie but 5 pounds heavier), so I worry about looking too childish. But I'm thinking that big ruffle in the front would disguise my lack of boobage.

Er it might look cute but why not achieve the look with some short shorts and a ruffly tank top?
Or this has a very similar look:

I like your outfit and it sounds like you've got the right body type to pull it off. I say go for it!

ITA. I don't like rompers in general...and I don't think the ruffle is going to help the outfit to not look childish.

I agree.  I think you could pull off the look with other items that would make you look chic (which is the look Nicole Ritchie tends to go for IMO) instead of just young.

Sorry but it might look a little too 70's cotumey, like you should be in Boogie Nights.

I really like the top Xtina suggested

I like it and I think if done right it can be pulled off to look chic and not childish.

I agree! I love the romper look on the right body type. I've seen ladies where it with our without having boobs.
I'm not too sure about the ruffle though, thats what makes it look childish. Who cares if your boobs are small. If youre saying you resemble NR body type, anything would look great on you!

LOL Then maybe I should switch the wedges with flat sandals.

I like the stuff you suggestes XtinaStyle.

Thanks for your input everyone!!!

Oh, I forgot to add that I loved this look that was in Lucky recently:

maybe if you tried a different color, then it wouldn't look childish? i like the idea of flats with that, and a pile of bangles on your arm. plus you could add a belt to make it more '09...

This is something I would have never picked out, but I think it's refreshing and cute!
