Has anyone tried Spanx Higher Power?  I'm looking for something for under a dress, so it can't cut me off in the middle!

If you want some gentle smoothing and light control under something clingy, they are very nice indeed.  They won't, however, replace weeks/months of situps.  I tried them after I went wedding dress shopping and was horrified that I had become 'thick-waisted'.  Lets just say an hourglass I was not - with or without the Spanx!
