If you like coming of age/romantic/Jane Austin-esque British lit- you should def. read "I Capture the Castle" by Dodie Smith.  It is my favorite novel- I love the author's voice.  The movie is good, but not AS good.  Just a thought if you like these kinds of things.  My dad actually really liked it and passed it to me, which I think is SO cute

I started this book a long time ago, I liked it but for some reason did not finish it. I think I will pick it up again soon, thanks for reminding me of it, lynnie! Who is in the movie?

I read the book and watched the movie. I thought it was okay. It wasn't nearly as clever as Jane Austen though. However I might have enjoyed the book more if I'd read it when I was younger.


But it's definitely good. Worth a read and the movie is pretty decent, too.
