I've been wanting a two-finger name ring ever since I saw LC on The Hills wearing one (I know, not very original). Do you like these styles of rings? I don't know if it would be uncomfortable (because your two fingers would essentially be "stuck" together). There's an etsy seller (trinketjewellery) who makes them.

Yeah, unless you are a rapper I wouldn't wear one. JMO.

Ooh, I didn't even think of that. =( She makes the same ring for one finger, but my name is six letters and wouldn't look as cool as a shorter one. I think I'll pass. Thanks ladies!

It might be cute if you were like 15-16....but since I sense that you're older...I don't like even the pendant names - it's like wearing a tag:)

If you like the style, why don't you look for a brass-knuckles type ring without the name plate? A friend of mine wears one and I always laugh bc it says "Love" or something like that on it!

Some alternatives:

I got this ring on Etsy and I love it. I'm not sure about the nameplate ring.

I actually kind of like it. I'm not big on nameplates to begin with so I don't totally love it, but if I liked nameplates I think I'd really like this ring. It does remind me of a 90s rapper and I think most people will get that impression (especially in gold) but as long as you know that and own the playful, campy reference I think it would be fine...but if that's not what you're going for, then pass.

It does look uncomfortable and a bit young (teenage.) I like the one FashionFreak posted though.

Good point. It's not so much the style that I like, but the nameplate. I've always liked Carrie's necklace (on SATC) so I guess I must like nameplates. Although, I've seen Lauren Conrad wear her ring and I think Audrina has worn one too, and their rings looked very elegant to me (I think they were from XIV Karats in Beverly Hills though). Hmm, something I'll have to think about. I don't really need it, but at least I know I wouldn't get sick of the word, since I've had my name for 24 years and I still like it. smile I would definitely get it in silver too. Gold jewelery just doesn't look as good with my skin tone as silver.
