I am moving into a new apartment that has 2 closets and I am wondering how to split up my wardrobe.  So how do you guys do it?  Do you guys do work and going out clothes?  Summer and winter?  Shirts and pants?  Im open for anything.

Is that apartment here in Arkansas ?  I split my closets up by season, the off season goes in the guest room closet and current season in my bedroom closet.

I live in an apartment w/two closets for my stuff (the 3rd is for my boyfriend...I guess he has to put his stuff somewhere..LOL) and I divide them by summer and winter.  One of my closets is in the bedroom and one is out in the living room.  So if it's winter, i put all winter clothes in my bedroom closet and my spring clothes out in the living room closet and then vice versa.  HTH!

I have one closet for dressy clothes and suits and heels and I put all my other clothes in the other closet.

I pack up winter/summer (whichever season it isn't) clothes in large Rubbermaid containers and store them in the Laundry room.

Lots of closet space is so fun---you'll love it.

In my last apartment I had 3 closets so I split my clothes between tops, bottoms, and then shoes and accessories

my stuff is split up both ways because i have four small-ish closets instead of one or two large ones.  i have bottoms and workout stuff in one, tops, blazers, dresses and suits (which i never wear anymore) in another, shoes in the third (linen) closet, and off-season stuff and coats in my largest closet which is in the living room.  it's kind of weird, but i'm used to it now.

My closets are divided by season. I use my guest room closet for winter clothes (not that I keep alot since I live in FL), winter shoes, suits and business dress shirts that I don't wear often, tote bags, luggage, rain coats, and other assorted things. In my closet in my room I keep all my hanging clothes, bags, belts, pashminas/scarfs, shoes, and jewelry chest.
