Which Anthro thing should I get?
Permalink Closed

Tried on a couple of other things today at Anthro that made me ever more indecisive!

1. Marimekko $49.95 (down from $98)...I think it's super cool, but how versatile is it? It was featured in the June Lucky and I think that's what's blinding me from thinking straight.

2. Butterfly skirt ($69.95 down from $118)...I've found shirts this would work well with already, but it's white and it would show stains like crazy, right?

3. The blazer ($69.95 down from $138) I STILL cannot figure out whether it's cute or ugy, but somehow see fitting perfectly into my wardrobe because of the color scheme. I own two pairs of shoes in that red, and my brown pants would go, and I own shirts in that blue...it feels like it was designed to unite my closet together...

4. Search high and low and start begging multiple Anthros for this...which would be full price at $88 (and I despise playing full price...)

Help!!!

This is sheer personal preference, b/c I'm sure you could do cute things with all of them. But the only one I loove is the giraffes. Second would be the blazer. I would pass on the other two skirts.

I LOVE that marimekko skirt, LOVE it, and I'm sure you could come up with a bunch of different things to wear with it. It's a strong print but the colors are neutral, so you could go with red, brown, black, white, whatever on top. You could even rock it with the "talentless" t shirt!  Love it! I think the reason I'm not digging the butterfly skirt is that it looks kind of stiff, and the fun part of wearing summer skirts is how fluid and pretty they are.

I really like the first skirt, and the giraffe skirt. And you already know how I feel about the blazer from the other post-- adore it!

I am in love w/ the giraffe skirt, you should get it if it can be located in your size.

I love Marimekko prints so I'm a bit biased, but I think #1 is beautiful and also the most versatile of the three skirts. I know I would probably tire of the giraffes and the butterflies pretty quickly.

The blazer is very pretty though, and a good price, too. But if you can only get one thing, I would go with the Marimekko.

The giraffe hands down-the other stuff is cute, but I have always loved the giraffe skirt.  By the way, could you give a link to it on the anthro website.  I can't find it anymore.  TIA.

I think no matter what you have to get the giraffe skirt. And I am in love with the blazer as well. Too cute.

I actually took the pic off one of the old posts...the skirt's not on the website anymore.

I found the giraffe skirt at my local Anthro (Santa Monica, CA) in a size 10 (the last one in the store), but it was enormous. I really need a 2 or 4. It might be worth a call to see if they can locate it at their stores.
