(Non)Wedding Dresses I am now considering
Permalink Closed

I have saddlebags, so I am pretty darn positive the white dress will look horrid on me.  I have tried on dresses like that in the past with disasterous results.  I am glad I got to see the alternate views before buying.  I changed my mind on the rosebud dress for no particular reason other than I don't want it anymore.

Here are others I am considering now:

Shoot.  I can't even finish this post.  I have to go now.  What do you think so far?

(I'll be back tomorrow)

i like #1 best. it'll work with the shoes you already bought too!

#2 is pretty, but not so special

i like the #3 a lot, but i think that you may kick yourself for wearing it when you look at a photo 20 years from now.

#4 is pretty , but i don't like the neckline so much, especially for your wedding!

ooooh. I think #1 is perfect. Simple, but still special.

Ooh, I am going to be the only one, I can tell, but I really like #4!

Number 1 seems to teen prom-ish to me and too much "done" in this era. There's nothing that sets it apart to make it really special, so I think you'd end up just looking back and saying "Yeah, I got married around the new millenium." Gorgeous color, but it's my second choice.

Number 2 I don't like the fabric of - it doesn't seem "nice" enough for your wedding.

Number 3 I am biased against b/c I have a paranoid fear of the frump, which automatically (in my mind) excludes all dresses that hit midcalf.

I love the neckline, the fabric, the luxe feel of the fourth one.

Lisa, you are so NOT the only one, I think I gasped at the beauty of the 4th dress.  Oh it's just gorgeous.  I think I may dream about it.

I think #2 might be a bit casual for a wedding, and #3 seems a bit much. So I'd go with either #1 or #4.

#4 is more unique, of course, although I don't really care for the flower. And why on earth does the model have to be hunching like that!

I'm the only one so far but I absolutely LOVE #3 - it just seems so beautiful and special for the day.

None of them are speaking special enough for your wedding to me. You have a wonderful style and these just seem to do you justice... I want to see what else you were going to post before you had to go....

I love the last three, but the colors of #3 don't exactly spell "wedding"

I agree...none of these are speaking to me. I would love to see what else you've got to post.

#1 because it is simple and beautiful, something you will look at in 30 years and not want to ask yourself "WHY?!?"

I agree too. They're all beautiful dresses but don't seem like "the one."

Out of the ones you have posted so far I like #4 the best.  I don't really like the fabric on the first one.  I still love the rosebud suit.
