My 7s are fuzzing!
Permalink Closed

My two oldest pairs of 7s (1.5? years old or so) are BOTH starting to develop pilling along the backside and the front of the legs. It's not normal thinning like other jeans I've owned; it's actual "pilling" like you'd see on a sweater.

Has anyone else had this happen? When it started on my NYD pair, I thought it was b/c of the stretch, but now my nonstretch medium NY pair is pilling too. WTF?

Just for reference, I always wash in delicate/cold water with woolite, and I don't put my jeans in the dryer. Has this happened to anyone else?

I do have a pair of Dojos that are almost the same age & got the same amount of wear, and they aren't doing it at all.

Two of my oldest Sevens are pilling too. I thought it was because both of them are nonstretch, but since your stretch ones are also fuzzing, I don't know? I've had a few stretch pairs for more than 2 years now and they haven't even started to pill. I wash them in cool water and throw them in the dryer too, so they don't exactly get "special" treatment like yours.
