My sis is graduating at the end of the month. She got her masters. I am kind of stumped as to what to get her. I thought about a Tiffany's necklace or bracelt but I would really like to keep it under $100. Even better if it was between $50 and $75. Should I just bite the bullet and charge something more expensive for her? Please give me some grad gift ideas. FYI- She's a 32 year old single mom (If that helps at all).

You're so sweet... when I graduated from grad school I didn't get anything (but my bday was 2 weeks later so maybe I did). Anyway, if you want to get her jewelry, I went to the Tiffany website and found some classic things

$75 $100

$100 $110

$115

$115 ( I have this and it's really cute) $125

$75

*Other ideas: nice stationary, a pretty picture frame, a nice planner.

Another idea... check out the bookstore of the school she's graduating from. They usually have great ideas like paperweights, pictures, and other things related to the school.

i love the simple silver tiffany ideas. i was going to suggest it as well. gosh, i'd say about 5-7 years ago those elsa peretti necklaces were like $65. my they've gone up in price. i bought one for my girlfriend when she got her master's degree. if you can splurge a little on it, i think it's such a special gift... one she'll have forever. i've given the tiffany cross pendant as a gift too... brought the recipient to tears

you're a sweet sis!

I really like the figure eight looking necklace. Word of advice stay away from the keychains that have screw on balls. I got one for my 16th b-day and I had problems with it. It always unscrewed and my keys always went everywhere. It was a pain.

See you girls are all thinking how I am. Cute stuff. All of it was stuff I had already considered. My only problem is this month is crammed with extra expenses. (Mom's day, nephew/Godson's birhtday, niece/Goddaugher's play(I always get her something), NYC long weekend trip, Sisters graduation)

She did mention she wants a sweatshire from her school. That would run about $50- a bit cheaper, but is it too cheesey and lame???

I think a little something from Tiffany's is a great gift, simple, sentimental, and timeless.

I bought this one for my (now 17 y/o) sister and she Loves it!

also, I love the first picture knotted earrings.  I know college sweatshirts aren't cheap either, but for $25 more, I'd rather give a lasting gift.  IMHO.

How about a massage GC? Or mani/pedi treat? Or you could even make a basket for her with all kinds of relaxing bath treats. Sounds like she could use some relaxation!
