I know someone bought one recently and I recommended getting one with a UV light. Did anyone get that one? Does anyone have any other recommendations? My apt is so dry!

we just have a holmes mainly b/c i am addicted to the noise to sleep by at night.


didn't know about the UV light but we have had ours for years. I even had to buy a traveling one so i could sleep on the road!!

I have a Vornado humidifier, and love it. I bought one that was for a larger space than what I actually have, so I can make it good and humid if I want. It does not have a UV light. I ought it at BBB a few years ago for under $100. I haven't had any problems finding replacement filters, and recommend always using an antibacterial additive to the water supply.
