i called this from day one.  i was watching the news one night when she had just gone missing and someone asked her father "isn't it possible that she just got cold feet and ran away from the hoopla of the wedding?" and the father swore up and down "she is not like that, she would never do that." 


hello, NO one knows absolutely what another person would or would not do.  i started yelling at the TV that he shouldn't be so smug about his precious perfect daughter who would never exhibit such bad judgment.  and i was right.  ha.

Did anyone hear about the Audrey Seiler incident, the Univ of Wisconsin-Madison student (originally from Minnesota) who faked her own kidnapping?  Supposedly she was depressed and stressed out from school and mainly boyfriend problems, and just needed some time alone.  Well, during the time she was supposedly missing, she had bought tape and rope and concocted a story about a man abducting her.  It sounded very fishy.  Then it comes out that once she found out people were looking for her (and why wouldn't they be?!), she felt bad so made up the story.

I felt bad for her, but she had the whole city of Madison as well as much of her hometown looking for her.  I know she is paying some of the money back, but I am not sure how much exactly.  She obviously needed help, but running away in such a manner was uncalled for.  The actions of this runaway bride were also uncalled for, and I think she should also have to pay back a portion of the money spent on her search.

yeah, the bugged-out eyes in that one photo that seems to be the only one of her in existence are so CREEPY.
